I have been waiting for this moment for so long, but truth be told, I thought we were at least six months away. The other night at dinner my brother-in-law handed Sprite a crayon. As I was saying "she is too little to color" she grabbed it and immediately started coloring on the paper. I was so surprised. I just figured it was something she wouldn't be able to do for a while. So on Valentines Day I strapped her into her highchair, taped a piece of paper to the table (to minimize tearing and eating) and handed her two crayons.
She happily scribbled away and chewed a bit tool. I couldn't be prouder. And said masterpiece is already hanging on the fridge. Let me know if you need some new wallpaper because I have a feeling we are going to be doing lots of coloring.
Note: the actual photos of her drawing are on my phone and I have no idea how to get them onto the blog, so for now, these will have to do.
