Sprite had another very busy week. She went to her first movie on Monday. I haven't been to the movies in months and I was dying to see I Love You Man. Since Ben was home after a not so fun visit to the dentist we went to a matinee. She was great, once I relaxed and started watching the movie and not her we were able to enjoy the whole thing. The other people in the theater were very impressed that she never made a sound. Basically she slept the entire time. I am definitely planning on doing it again. Thank goodness she naps so well.
She also made a visit to my office for the first time. She was quite a hit and was on her best behavior for everyone. Not once did she throw up on my co-workers. Everyone at the Norton was so excited to finally meet her and after her visit she got to come along to lunch with the girls.
Most of the rest of the week was spent working on presents for Chrissy's shower. I was so excited that I was able to finish knitting the blanket on time. Thanks to Ben for helping out around the house and with Sprite even more than usual so I could get everything done.
The shower was great, but unfortunately I don't have any photos. Ben had the camera because he took Sprite to the boat show that day. Post on that to come later. She did make it to the shower for a brief visit.
After that Grandma and Grandpa Yoshino babysat while Ben and I went out to dinner with friends for the first time since she was born.
Yes, she is definitely a busy baby. No wonder she looks so exhausted in that first photo!
