Things to do before September 22

I love lists. Crossing things off makes me feel like I have accomplished something and writing them lets me dream up things I really want to do. Unlike the never ending days of summer from my childhood, summer with a new baby is flying by. So I am making a list of things I really want to do this summer. As I try and discover how to be myself and a mom at the same time I am doing my best to not make this just a "things to do with Sprite" list. Let me know if you have any suggestions or if you want to join me. I am going to keep adding things as I think of them and don't worry I have no intention of finishing them all. I will keep you posted on my progress though. Hey, accountability will keep this procrastinator on track.
In no particular order...

1. get a tan at the beach

2. go on a picnic

3. see a summer flick at the drive-in

4. go for a walk on Flager and Clematis in West Palm Beach, preferably early in the morning or late in the day.

5. make popsicles

6. have friends over for dinner
7. read a fun summer book

8. plan a new herb garden

9. get new pillows for the living room

10. recover the seats on our patio chairs

11. take Sprite swimming in the ocean

12. drink something with an umbrella next to a pool

13. go to an art workshop

14. learn to make a new frozen drink (or two)

15. see the new Harry Potter movie (in an actual movie theater)

16. go to a baseball game

17. rearrange the bedroom

18. clean and organize my desk

19. take the infant CPR class

20. fly a kite

21. sleep in

22. take a family vacation

23. share a giant ice cream sundae with someone, you know, the kind with too many flavors and a couple of spoons. No bananas please.

24. post reviews/recipies/artwork on my blog

25. send someone a postcard

to be continued...

Your reward for reading all of that...new (but really two weeks old) photos of Sprite

26. Stargaze
27. Play a boardgame
28. eat a gelato treat from Paciugo
29. make S'mores
30. get a haircut
31. get a summer CD and sing along LOUDLY
32. visit a botanical garden and photograph the Sprite
