Take for example number 12 - drink something with an umbrella next to a pool. This one should have been very easy. Go to Mom and Dad's house, make delicious alcoholic drink, lay by pool and sip away. Instead it was more like this. Print out instructions for Strawberry lemonade. Load up car with Sprite and go to Mom and Dad's house. Finally get her to take her nap and run to store while Chrissy babysits. Buy drink supplies, forget umbrellas, go back and get umbrellas. Start making drink and wake up Sprite while pureeing strawberries. Take two hour break to feed and play with Sprite. Finish making drink, insert umbrella, and sit outside on a swing next to the pool. I am exhausted just thinking about it. This is a note to all of my friends who don't have kids yet. It is lots of fun to have a baby, but it takes forever to do anything. I do realize that a lot of it was my fault. It could have been more s like this - head to nearest drive thru, purchase yummy drink, insert umbrella, lay by pool. But I had a picture in my head of what I wanted to do and I was sticking to it. I am sure there is a lesson for me to learn in all of this.
Not that it was all bad. Chrissy, the Little General, Sprite and I sat outside and enjoyed our delicious drinks. And I learned how to make a really yummy, non-alcoholic drink, and put to use some of the many fruit puree's I am making for sprite. Peach margaritas anyone?
So here is a photo of the drink and the recipe.

6. Have friends over for dinner (Twice already and hopefully a lot more)
